Horror Case Files: Puppet Master 5 (1994)

Blade, Jester, and torchPuppet Master 5: The Final Chapter

I found out that Puppet Master 4 and 5 was filmed back to back. Puppet Master 5 was suppose to be the final film of the series. Too scared to watch it? The Horror Case Files reveal the background story, kill count, most creative kill, the killer(s), and what happened to the killer(s). WARNING! SPOILERS if you continue.

Story

Rick from the previous movie has been held captive, while his employer is trying to find his dolls, which are still back the hotel.

Kill Count

4 people 1 little monster

Most Creative Kill

A person from the corporation got backed up puppets Torch and Tumbler, then fell into an elevator shaft to his death. Not the greatest death, but there isn’t any good deaths in this film.

The Killers

Sutekh decides to finish the job he started, by transferring his soul into a Totem and engages the Puppet Master and his puppets.

What Happened to the Killers

Sutekh has been to long in the earth realm and his power has become week. He then makes a portal to back to his world. Sutekh end up being blown up in an explosion caused by Decapitron a newer puppet, by shooting lighting at a portal that leads back to the demon world.

Horror Case Files Verdict

This was a little better than the first. The puppets do a little more and at least it didn’t abruptly like the previous one. Still very passable though. Not many kills or interesting deaths and the pacing is slow.

Random Info I got from this File:
    • Demon Lords need manicures
    • Puppets can break jaws
    • If you’re a demon lord, you should take over the world by becoming a small puppet size monster
File Status: 4 out of 10
